There’s a pretty good chance that you’ve heard the phrase “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” and didn’t pay much attention to it.
With all of the chronic ailments that we now associate with our low fiber/high fat/high sugar American diet, perhaps we should start paying attention to it sooner rather than later.

This episode is devoted to the many benefits of fresh fruits. And I get to it as soon as I finish my story about meeting Paula Poundstone. She could very well be my favorite funny person!
